Understanding Canadian Treaties

An introduction to historical and present day information on Canadian treaties will be presented. Participants will gain an understanding of our shared past and increase foundational knowledge of the spirit and intent of the treaties.

Indigenous Games and Math Connections
Friday April 4, 2025 10:15am - 11:30am MDT
Participants will be introduced to a variety of Indigenous games from all over Turtle Island and learn how they can be utilized to make connections and reinforce concepts within the Alberta math program. Traditional games can be adapted to accommodate different skill and age levels, which allow all teachers to create a unique learning experience for their students.
